Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of VocalRep (the "Service"), operated by vocalrep ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

VocalRep lets you upload audio voice messages and receive transcripts, summaries, and AI-generated reply suggestions. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

2. Acceptance and eligibility

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to enter into this agreement. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. You must not:

  • Use it for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes;
  • Upload content you do not have the right to process;
  • Attempt to probe, scan, scrape, or interfere with the Service's security;
  • Reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service;
  • Generate illegal content, deepfakes, harassment, malware, or content that infringes others' rights.

You are responsible for the audio you upload, the prompts you submit, and how you use any output. AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate and should not be relied on as professional advice without verification.

4. Accounts

You may use the Service anonymously up to a free-tier limit. To continue beyond that limit you sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.

5. Intellectual property

We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including its software, branding, and documentation. You retain ownership of the audio you upload and the outputs generated for you, subject to a limited license for us to host and process your content solely to provide the Service.

6. Payments, subscriptions, and billing

Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis until cancelled. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.

You may cancel your subscription at any time via the customer portal accessible from Paddle. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for: material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete associated data after a reasonable retention window.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
